Featuring new cupped flighting, the Patz Vortex™ Screw promotes fast blending of a consistent mix, regardless of batch size. Patz patented baffles quickly and gently direct all materials around both screws from end to end, producing a thorough, consistent, quality mix.

Patz Industrial 2400 Series II Twin Screw Vertical Compost Mixers provide a true, consistent mix!
The Patz Vertical Mixer combines large volumes of assorted material for a uniform mixed product. Using two large vertical Vortex™ Screws, the mix is combined quickly and efficiently without crushing the ingredients.
Material is pulled away from the bottom of the mixer walls by the specially designed Vortex™ Screws, allowing more material to fall as the screws rapidly lift the batch. The continuous lifting and falling action creates a thoroughly blended mixture of ingredients within a few minutes.
After mixing, the Vortex™ Screws move the mixed batch to the discharge area where it quickly exits the mixer for distribution.
