Rotor Assembly

Reverse or replace blades quickly and easily! Simply remove tub (or flip up the hinged deck on some models) to remove the rotor shaft.
- Belts can be easily removed from the rotor shaft pulley.
- No knives to unbolt or bolt together.
- Rotor assembly has 20 rotor blades (80 cutting edges) on the Portable and Stationary models; and 13 rotor blades (52 cutting edges) on the PTO and Blower models for fast, efficient cutting.
- The large 5-inch (127 mm) diameter, diecast aluminum spacers reduce wrapping.
- The 11/2 -inch (38 mm) diameter hex shaft is made strong to handle the torque.
- The double belt drive, rotor speed is 2,850 RPM.
