93 Tonnes (102 tons) Hauled Out... And That Was A Light Load
Ingersoll Paper Box, a 3,716 sq metres (40,000 sq. ft.) facility manufacturing and printing boxboard boxes, needed a waste removal system for the trim from the die cutting machines. They selected the Patz Model 400 for its ability to remove the 93 tonnes (102 tons) per month (most months the waste is more than that) with no breakdowns, no hassles.
Sarah Skinner, project manager, likes the new Removal System because "it eliminates a lot of manual work. The waste used to be manhandled into bins and then dumped."
Now with the 73 metre (240 feet) Model 400 running under the die cutters, the work is all automated, and IPB's productivity has improved. Sarah explained that they looked at other systems, but chose Patz . . . "because it was very, very competitive compared to other systems, and it does the job so effectively."
